'Branches of Faith' Craft

'Branches of Faith' Craft

My son and I are visual learners so having reminders and images on the wall help a lot with our learning! After making the '3 Principles of our Deen Flip Book', I thought I'd go further and make him a 'Branches of Faith' wall hanging. Not only does this look beautiful in his area, but serves as a conversation starter and a constant reminder of the important aspects of our Deen.

What you need:
  • 2 Branches (each approx. 35cm long)
  • Printable Template  (purchase HERE or create your own)
  • Scissors
  • Twine
  • Tape

How to make:

1. Cut your template or create your own. I stuck my templates on coloured paper and also laminated them (optional).

2.  Organise where to place your templates, then mark the branch where the twine will be tied. Cut and tie the twine on the branch (or you can drill a hole then insert the twine).

4. Tape the pictures to the back making sure they're the right way up.

I added some wooden beads for a boho look. Get creative with your branches! I'll be displaying mine on the wall with nails. Feel free to add extra twine to hang.

I’d love to see your little ones enjoying my learning resources. Please tag us if you choose to share your lessons in your social media posts. You’ll find us on Instagram (@brb_raisingkids) and Facebook (@brbraisingkids).
