Inspired by our recent #InspiredByQuran Ramadan prompt, this reflective activity is based on the ayah in Surat Al Baqarah
“The example of those who spend their wealth in the path of Allah is like a seed of grain which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies for whom He wills.” (2:261)
This activity helps children visualise how even the smallest good deeds can grow and multiply when they are done sincerely for Allah.
The poster uses the imagery of a growing seed to help reflect:
-
The seed represents the child’s main good deed or goal.
-
The spikes show the different ways that good deed can grow.
-
The grains or leaves represent the positive outcomes and rewards that come from it.
Through this visual and reflective exercise, children are encouraged to think about the impact of their actions and sincerity in their intentions.
