Wooden Table Display Stands

Just created 2 fabulous display stands which I'm totally in love with!

What you need:  (makes 2 stands):

  • Ruler
  • Marker
  • Sandpaper
  • Craft Glue
  • Saw
  • Drill
  • 1.2m Dowel Wood (x2)
  • 24.5 cm Timber Pieces (x4)

How to make:

1. Gather your supplies. Timber pieces are 24.5 cm long.

These will be the bases, so cut to your preferred size.

Supplies

2. Measure and mark the top of the base 3 cm apart and at least 1.5 cm from the edges. Also mark the inside edge of the base 3 cm away from the top and
bottom (see step 6).
Repeat with all other bases.

Step 1

3.  Drill the marked holes (1/2 cm deep).

4. Cut 32 small dowel pieces 6 cm lengths.

5. Sand edges and bases. Then cut 4 dowel pieces approx 12 cm for the inside edges.

6.  Starting with the inside edges, place glue in each hole and plug in the 12 cm piece dowel. Ensure the bases are straightened before glue dries up and then glue in the smaller dowel pieces.
